tional Services went to area schools with
cheque in hand for Literacy. "Rotary
International has encouraged this
project at all the District levels and our
Grand Bend Club carries this project
through each year to our area schools, 1
believe reading and writing are essential
to independence and economic free-
dom. Reading alone is also one of the
most important skills in developing
healthy minds, good writers and crea-
tive thinkers to further their education
in a positive direction, says Andraza.
Grand Bend, Bosanquet, Mount Car-
mel and Stephen each received $500,00
and will use it for books, smart boards
or literacy programs they may not oth-
erwise be capable of funding.

be purchasing more non-fiction engaging Utsmcy resources for Junior/
intermediate students aped* to engage our boys.
