The Grand Cove Lawn Howling Club has wrapped up another successful
year.
Besides in- house and 0.L.B.A. tournaments, the club started a Jitney
league on Wednesday evenings that was well received.
The greens were excellent and the club invites all Cove existing and inter-
ested new members to try lawn bowling next sprinh.

Bosanquet Central Public School Principal Steve Thomas has Introduced two new
arrivals on his teaching staff. Amanda Schoonlans, In middle, is part-time library
and preparation teacher and Laura Gordon Is covering French teacher Barb Clark's
leave. Schoonjans previously taught at Queen Elizabeth School In Sarnia and Gordon
graduated in June from the University of Windsor's French program. The school west
of Thedford has total enrolment of 165, down from 169 last year and 166 in September,
2009. Principal Thomas counts 16 Junior Kindergarten students, down from 21 last
year but Senior Kindergarten is a class of 20, up from year-eariler 17.
