Autumn Indulgence, the
annual fundraiser of the Rotary
Club of Grand Bend, will take
place on Saturday, September 17
at the newly renovated Huron
Country Playhouse. This year's
thence is Royalty, in honour of
William and Kate's wedding.
"The British monarchy really
knows how to put on a show, and
so do we," says event co-chair

evening is the live auction, which

items. 'Ihe dream kitchen make-
over is valued at $11,500 and
includes beautiful high quality
Wood Crest cabinetry. The suc-
cessful bidders will meet with
kitchen design specialists to get
all the professional advice they
need. "If you have a kitchen ren-
ovation in mind, Autumn Indul-
gence is a great opportunity,"
says Gary MacLean. "You'll get
the custom kitchen you always
wanted, and also help the great
work that Rotary is doing in the
community"
Another exciting live auction
item is a "trip to nearly anywhere
in the world:' A popular offering
last year, this package includes
airfare and one week's luxury
accommodation for two people.
Other live auction items include
a one-week trip and cruise to
Greece and 'Markey front 'i'ransat
1 lolidays, and a portrait by popu-
lar artist 'Teresa Marie starring
you as the Mona Lisa.
All proceeds from Autumn
indulgence go to support impor-
tant local and international
projects. The Club is committed
to eradicating polio worldwide,
improving the water quality of
Lake Huron, and enhancing the
Huron Country Playhouse. Other
projects include collecting sup-
plies and equipment front local
school closures and sending
them to needy schools in South
Africa, Haiti and South America.
'Ihe evening offers a steak and
lobster dinner, two live bands,
and dancing. In addition to the
live auction, there is a silent auc-
tion that features many original
and unique one -of -a -kind items.
The ticket price for the event is
$90 for all the festivities, and $25
without dinner.
