To mark ten years �f commu-
nity leadership, the Grand Bend
Community Foundation is
holding the Community Leaders
of the Decade Gala on October
28. "We all know someone who
has made an exceptional contri-
butions to this commu-
nity, enriching it through his or
her leadership and vision? So,
now is your chance to celebrate
his or her contributions," says the
enthusiastic committee.
You can nominate anyone
who:
Lives or lived in the Greater
Grand Bend area
Has provided volunteer leader-
ship in our community for most
of the past 10 years
Is not currently holding politi-
cal office.
All qualified nominees will be
recognized at the gala.

Now. Mail or hand deliver the
nomination fee (a $100 donation
to the Grand Bend Community
Foundation - tax receipt availa-
ble) by the nomination deadline.
The dollars will be used to fund
this event.
You are being asked to write a
100 word explanation as to why
this person is being acknowl-
edged and the committee is more
than happy to help you write
that.
" A lot has happened since 2001
and we need to step back and cel-
ebrate those accomplishments -
to celebrate the people who made
it happen," says committee mem-
ber Pat Morden. The gala will be
a dress -up, fun event on October
28th.

CHARMING THREE-BEDROOM COTTAGE
This charming three-bedroom cottage includes an optional unfinished basement. With lots of character on the
exterior, thanks to shingled gables and decorative woodwork, the home boasts an interior that features every
amenity required by the contemporary family.
At the heart of this design is the open-plan great -room complex, which includes french doors located between the
