and musical and dramatic and has a list
of incredible actors. The power, ambi-
tion and greed make up for a hilarious
production on Main Stage at Huron
Country Playhouse (HCPII). If you
don't have tickets -you may want to
hurry -this is a production you won't
want to miss.
In the book by Abe Burrows, Jack
Weinstock & Willie Gilbert, this produc-
tion is a sure fire way to get ahead in
life—and with the help of the talented
Michael Lichtefeld, Director & Chore-
ographer and Charlene Nafzlger, Music
Director.
Go back to the 1960s into the heart of
corporate America and J. Pierrepont
Finch (Ari Butler) wants to be more
than a window washer. And so goes his
plan. He begins in the mail room and
Rosemary Pilkington (Jayme Arm-
strong) takes a shine to him. Bud, (Tho-
mas Alderson) the bosses nephew, does
not.
Butler is brilliant. He is funny and
suspect and his voice is wonderful.
Armstrong, known to the HCPH audi-
ence, shines as the beautiful smart,
sweet secretary. Alderson becomes an
audience favourite the moment he
steps onto the stage. His inabitions
show no bounds and you love to hate
his character. Seasoned actor Brian
McKay is no stranger to 11CP1 I and does
not disappoint. Canadian theatre veter-
ans Victor Young (and Jayne Lewis
showcase their talent as Ayrin Mackie is
the sure fire office vamp I ledy LaRue.
Celebrated director and choreogra-
pher Michael Lichtefeld leads this tal-
ented creative team to a production you
won't want to miss. Artistic diretor Alex
Mustakis says this is a funny take on
real life and he is correct. You are taken
away to the world of business, getting
ahead in life with a small serving of
romance on the side.
How to Succed in Business Without
Really Trying wraps up August 13th.
