It was quite the reunion for Guenther Tuckey on Saturday In Exeter. One man
said the memories of a wonderful career and friends brought tears to his eyes.
Vintage trucks lined the Royal Canadian Legion parking lot, Inside, Jane Brady
took chane of the memory table laden with old photos and stories spanning
decades since the 1929 start of the business. A favourite truck for many was
the 1954 ESSO tanker parked outside the Legion. Organizer Dave Dettmer chats
with two of Benson hickey's grandsons, Matt and Mark. This was the 40th year
since Exeter's Guenther Tuckey business was sold to Laidlaw 1 ansport.
