A plaque was recently presented to skating coach Patty Dougherty in recognition of
years of service for the Bluewater Zurich Skating Club. Patty is seen here receiving
the plaque from club president Dana Bozzato(right). The plaque now hangs in the
foyer of the Bluewater Community Centre.

Gardening with Native Plants Workshop

Foundation Environment Committee
Many wildlife species are losing habitat at un ever-increasing rate, most often us a result
of human activity. We can help by creating as wildlife habitat on our own properties and
throughout our communities. By planting native plants, we can create balanced, sell -
sustaining, low maintenance micro -environments that suppxnrt birds, butterflies and a
wider variety of wildlife species.
