both county and municipal staff members.
According to information compiled by county staff, the
endeavour is anticipated to cost about $50,000, including
$25,000 for a part-time planner in the event considerable
research, reporting and public meetings are required,

Councillors got a chance to check out both the hourly wages
and salaries of the county's Senior Management Team and
workers in comparison to neighbouring counties and
municipalities.
While human Resources manager Darcy Michaud notes
some comparisons are difficult to make given the pay structure
is different (some counties pay their SM'1's on a 35 -hour work
week with overtime accrued after that for example), the data is
mostly straightforward.
"We're about seventh out of 11. We're les than average," says
Michaud, noting some hourly rates are understandable given
some of the comparative regions, like London, are urban,
According to the rankings, out of 10 comparators, I luron
County ranks last in the Human Resources director category at
an hourly rate of $57,37 per hour compared to London, the high-
est, at $95.26 per hour. Huron also ranks last for its director of
cultural services hourly rate of $57.37 compared to the highest,
London, at $83.52.
