• Mr. Isaac Walker has sold what is

-Henry Kemp of Goderich is suing
the Dominion Paler & Transmission
Company of Hamilton for 810,000 dam-
ages for the death of his son.

-We are pleased to report that Miss
Nellie Bennett, who underwent a serious
operation last week is doing nicely and

-The regular monthly meeting of the
Ladies' Auxiliary of the Wingham Gen-
eral Hospital will be held next Monday
afternoon, March 2nd, at 4.15 o'clock in
the Council Chamber. All/ members
and ladies interested are invited to at-
tend.
-The North Huron Telephone Co. in-
stalled telephones this week as follows:

-At a recent Elocutionary contest
held in Sovereign Council of the Royal
Templets of Temperance at Hamilton,
Miss Mabel McDonald, daughter of Mr,
and Mrs. D. E. McDonald, of this town,
was awarded first prize. The prize
was a beautiful medal. The TIMES ex-
tends congratulations to Miss McDonald.
