An Operation
for Appendicitis
was ordered by his doctor.
But Complete Cure was Effected
by Dr. Chase's Kidney -Liver Pills
Almost anyone who has suffered from appendicitis. will assure
you that this trouble developed only after months or year of de-
rangements of the liver and bowels.
Appendicitis can almost invariably be prevented, and verY
frequently cured, by the use of Dr. Chase's Kidney -Liver pills.
In the case described in this letter the doctors had ordered an
operation, but thorough cure was brought about by this great
medicine.
Mrs. J. A. Ballantyne, Sturgeon Funs, Ont., writes:
"My husband was treated for appendicitis and the doctors ordered
an operation. But he would not consent to an operation and began
the use of Dr. Chase's Kidney -Liver Pills. Since doing S0 he has
had no need of an operation or even of a doctor, as the trouble,
has completely left him. I cannot find words to speak our grati-
tude for his cure. Dr. Chase's medicines have proven of wonderful
benefit in our home as the Ointment cured my little girl of a severe
burn when nothing else would bring relief."
One pill a dose, 25 cents a box, all dealers. Sample box mailed
free if you mention this paper. Edmanson, Bates & Co, Limited,

The readers of this paper will be
pleased to learn that there is at least
one dreaded disease that science has
been able to cure in all He stages, ana
that is Catarrh. Hall's Catarrh Cure
is the only positive cure now known to
the medical fraternity, Catarrh being
a constitutional disease, requires a con-
stitutional treatment. Hall's Catarrh
Cure is taken internally, acting directly
upon the blood and mucous surfaces of
the system, thereby destroying the
foundation of the disease, and giving
the patient strength by building up the
constitution and assisting nature it
doing its work. The proprietors have
so much faith in its curative powers
that they offer One Hundred Dollars for
any ease that it fails to cure. Send for

And the man who talks the longest may

To Suffer From
Headaches
MAKES LIFE MISERABLE.
....••••••••
It takes a person who has had and is
subject to headache to describe the suffer-
ing which attends it. The dull throbbing,
the intense pain, sometimes in one part
of the head, sometimes in another, and
then again over the whole head, varying
in its severity by the cause which brings
it on, purely indicates that there is
something amiss with the system. The
fact that Burdock Blood Bitters reaches
the eeat of the trouble is due to its success
iti relieving and permanently curing the
cause of the headache.
Mrs. Andson, 416 15th Ave, East, Cal-
gary, Alta., writes: " ror three years 1 was
troubled all the time with sick headaches,
and suffered also with constipation, and
kept breaking out in pimples and sores on
tny face. I tried everything till at last a
friend told me of Burdock Blood Bitters.
I took two bottles, and my skiii is as
clean and pure as a baby's, and 1bane.
never been troubled with the headathee
since."
