Bad Apples make generous donations
The Lucknow Bad Apples are into another hockey
season and looking for new players!
The Bad Apples are a group of women 19 - 90 (or
older) who want to play hockey for fun. We are non-
competitive playing mostly shinny on Sunday nights.
Last year, the team was happy to boast that, due to the
success of our "just -for -fun tournament" and a wealthy
tip jar at a Lancer Bar, the team was able to make the fol-
lowing donations to the community: Kingsbridge Youth
Group - $500 for their Mission trip; Lucknow Minor
Hockey - $1,100 for a set or team Jerseys; YMCA
Housing Support (for assistance with food vouchers) -
$200, Lucknow Good Food Box (to help subsidize food
boxes)- $200, Kloe's Amazing Hair Cutting Adventure
for Prader Willi Research - $200 as well as a donation to
two local youth for Easter Seals Camp expenses - $500.
The Bad Apples also donated their time to tend bars
for the Lucknow Lancers, Music in the Fields and
Theswater Reunion. Anyone interested in "trying out",
which really means just showing up, because we wel-
come all people. Please call Joan at 519-528-3108.

Congratulations
to Sandy and Sean
Gander who cele-
brated * their
anniversary last
week.
Also we are
thinking about the
folks who are
going into the hos-
pital, or who are at
home recovering
from a hospital
stay. Those storm
days sure made it
tricky to keep doc-
tor's appointments,
etc. Mind you
there were some of
us who really
enjoyed the
enforced holiday -
got lots of home
projects done.
