McMurray said more than 4,000 people attended the show, and three of the music acts went on to receive Canadian Country Music Association awards. "It showcased our com- mun ity in a positive light and we earned a good rep- utation with the agents and artists," said McMurray. In planning for Next year's event, the Kinsmen are happy that their logo has been branded and they have a website at www.musicinthefields.ca where people can check out highlights from this year's show and find out about next year's event. They are also looking for sponsorship and, with the help of TNR Productions, have turned out a promo- tional package which includes video footage from this year's concerts.
