Match (IPM) at Earlton in the District of Temiskaming from Sept. 22 - 26. Huron County's Melissa Sparling, age 21, was crowned the new Ontario Queen of the Furrow for 2009/2010. She is the daughter of Jim and Tammy Spading of R.R. #1, Varna. Huron County now proudly claims three Ontario queens. The first. was Amy (Stewart) Beccario, formerly of the Seaforth area, who was crowned at the = Scott Farms in Seaforth at the 1966 IPM. Sadly, Amy passed away in Fonthill August 15 of this year. The second' was Lynne (Dodds) Godkin, also formerly of the Seaforth area . and who now resides near Exeter.
