Centre (ACC) in Toronto on Oct. 5 where they learned the importance of what is• happening on the world stage. The club went to the same' confer, • ence last year, but this time it was for a new group: o f stu- dents to learn about what happens in the world and what they can do to help. The conference itself opened the student's eyes to global issues, such as poverty, educa- tion and social change. Last year's con- ference had about 8,000 people and this year's had close to 16,000 people attend.
