A very special thank you to Wanda Riley and all of the staff at the Gilbert Hall Retirement Home who gave mom such special care over the past two and one half years. Also, our thanks to Dr. Shubat. Thanks also to everyone who donated to the Wingham & District Hospital. They will be pleased to receive over $300 raised from this event. A big thank you to the Lucknow Legion ladies for looking after cutting the cakes, mak- ing the punch, tea and coffee so that our fami- ly could enjoy visitinall afternoon. A special thanky ou to my family for all their hard work and planning for this big surprise and for look- ing after the food for supper at Don's farm afterwards. The 80 candles, the blow torch to light them, fire extinguisher in case of fire and special glasses for me to wear while blowing them out, all made for a fun filled day from start to finish.
