I l • • I • / • s / I I I I C / I / Second floor addition coming to arena BY GARIT REED Sentinel Staff The Lucknow and District Sports Complex will be get ting an addition to its second floor, thanks in part to the funding the Lucknow and District Joint Recreation • board received from the Recre.ational Infrastructure Canada (Rine) Fund. The addition will provide accessibility to everyone and the biggest attraction will be the new viewing area that looks out onto the ice surface. There will also be a lift put in - place for those not able. to use the staircase. "The benefit of the new addition _ will be more room for viewing for hockey tournaments and our senior A team, the Lucknow Lancers," said chair of the Lucknow and District Joint Recreation Board Don Murray. "It will just allow for more people to come out and watch hockey games. There could also be the idea . of renting the space out to various groups."
