The grant from. OTF will be used to purchase com- puter and office equipment to help identify staff and volunteers, at the new offices, and deliver services throughout Huron `County. This help has ensured that services could be expand- ed and enhanced. . "We are so pleased to receive this grant from the Ontario Trillium Fund," said Shelley Dorey, executive direc- tor, Victim Services of Huron County. "Being able to open up new satellite offices will better allow us .to sup- port victims of crime and tragic circumstance throughout the entire county." Since 2003, Victim Services of Huron County has worked in cooperation with Wingharn Police Services and the Huron County Ontario Provincial Police to support and assist with the needs of victims of crime in Huron County. They strive to create a community where the highest quality victim -centered support and serv- ices are available and accessible. Using trained vol- unteers from the community, they are able to pro- vide short-term practical and emotional assis- tance to victims 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
