Position Summary:

Provide service as necessary in public relations and marketing;
Be responsible for the co-ordination of operational and financial business;
Manage administrative aspects of the Foundation office; and
Work within an approved budget and established policies.
Requirsments:
The preferred candidate will have the following qualifications:
Completion of a Public Relations Diploma at a college or university level and/or a
combination of education (minimum Grade 12 OSSD) and several years of public
relations experience;
Previous experience with bookkeeping (Quick Books);
Must be able to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends;
Knowledge of Microsoft applications;
Ability to utilize the Internet for research; and
A certificate as a fundraising professional will be an asset.

Evelyn Viola (nee Miller) Gowanlock passed away at Pinecrest Manor in
Lucknow on Friday, July 17, 2009 in her .93rd year. Beloved wife of the
late R. Maurice Gowanlock (1966). Survived by two daughters, Muriel
• Gowanlock and her husband Winston Green of Glarnmis and Lois _
(Gordon) Bradley of Inverhuron; three grandchildren, Lisa (Phillip) Errike
of Walkerton, Joan Bradley and: her husband Nick Bjelan of Hensel!, and
Donald (Lisa) Bradley of Kitchener; seven great-grafldchildren, T:erdan
and Breanna Emke, JNlian, Robyn and Erin Bjelan, and Scott and Maura
Bradley. Also survived by her sister,
Ethel, Mrs. 1iY.J.:Nelies of Surrey,
B.C.; also one niece, and one nephew. Predeceased by her brother
Maurice Miller. Evelyn was born July 31,1916` n Sullivan Township near
Chesley, eldest daughter ofthe late ,Adam Miller and Mnnie May Lang.
She attended Stratford Normal School and taught in rural schools at
011hant and Cardin). After their marriages' Maurer and Evelyn farmed
and lived In Huron Township. She moved to Kincardine after Maurice's
death and worked at the Bruce Inn, retirirg'on Harbour Street and later
at Malcolm Place. She has been a resident of Pinecrest Manor for the .
past five years. Visitation was at t e :Davey-Llntdater. Funeral Home on
Tuesday. Jury 21, one hour prior to the funeral service, with Rev. Jim
Weir officiating. interment, Chesley Cemetery. Pallbearers were Joan
Bradley, Donald . Bradley, Lisa Emke, Nick Bjelan, Lisa Bradley, and
Phillip Emke. Flower bearers were Jillian Bjelan, Scott Bradley, Robin
Bjelan. Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or a Chari-
ty of your choke` would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.

Bill Thomson of ` Belgrave, died suddenly, on
Friday, July 24, 2009 at the age of 58. Born in
Goderich on Oct. 9, 1950 to the late Ball and
