Wingham theatre unveils diverse season
Wingham
Heritage Theatre's
artistic and gener-
al director, Peter
McCutcheon,
recently unveiled
a diverse 2009/10
season of musical
performances at
the venerated
Wingham Theatre
in addition to
expansion plans
that include a new
box office loca-
tion, the opening
of Gallery 288,
and Concerts in
the Park.
"Moving the
box office is
essential to our
continued suc-
cess," said
McCutcheon
"We have simply
outgrown our
facilities at the
Wingham
Theatre."

tion, at 288
Josephine Street,
just steps from the
Wingham
Theatre, will not
only house the
box office and
administrativ:e
offices,.: but, will
also house
Gallery 288, a
trendy gallery
space which easi-
ly ly converts into
an intimate 24
seat performance
venue.

Park, on Saturd ay,
July 25, will be a
solo performance
by McCutcheon,
one of Canada's
finest lyric tenors.
McCutcheon who
has sung around
the world with
symphony orches-
tras, as well as
long running per-
formances in pro-
ductions of
Forever Plaid and
Phantom of the
Opera, is set to
release a new
album with ._ EMI
later this summer.
McCuicheon's
usual accompa-
nist, Margaret
Mikelait, will join
him to present a
concert of classic
Broadway tunes,
including high-
lights from 'the
Phantom: of the

ual awareness and fund-
raising events ` across
Grey -Bruce and its con-
