In the last 11
years the Lucknow
Growing Project
has donated
$65,000 to
Canadian
Foodgrains bank.
What is amazing
about that number
is the fact, whenev-
er there is a dona-
tion made
Canadia
Foodgrains Bank,
the Canadian
International
Development
Agency will match
each donation, on a
four to one ratio up
to an annual maxi-
mullof : $25 " mil-
lion.
This means
over the past 1I
.years the Lucknow
Growing _, Project
has actually raised
$325,000.,
For Wright and
the rest of the pew
pie that support the
Lucknow Growing
Project: they are
overwhelmed at
What a community
like theirs can do
when giving to the
less fortunate.
"Everybody who
is a part of this in.
the community is
pulling together to.
make this .project
successful year
after year and
that's dieexciting
part of it," said
Wright. _ .
