46 In Memoriam
SHAWN LANE
In loving memory of a dear son and brother
Who passed away 12 years ago June 14, 1997.
Too far away for sight or speech
But not too far for thoughts to reach
You had a smile for everyone
You had a heart of gold
You left the sweetest memories
That we could ever hold
As angels keep their watch up there
Please God Just let Shawn know
That we down here do not forget.
We love and miss him so.
Forever In, our our hearts, lovingly remem-
bered, Diann and Rob. - 24xv

A sincere thank you to the business people
and individuals who supported us through
pledges on the "Motorcycle Ride for Dads"
event. The ride, held in London on May 31,
consisted of a 150 km route with 350 motorcy-
cles participating. $62,000 was raised, and all
funds will be used locally. The ride was sanc-
tioned through the London police and London
Health Science Foundation to raise money for
the ongoing fight and research effort against
prostate cancer. One in six men will be diag-
nosed, affecting the lives of males, spouses
and families. Early detection is the key to sav-
ing lives. Talk about getting checked, put your
embarrassment aside and "Get er Done".
