During those debates, then county warden John Bezaire (Central Huron) was also slated to receive a vehicle but that proposal was later removed. "Obviously, I forgot," replied Johnston. While Coun. Bernie Maclellan (Huron' East) sought further clarification; the CAO noted the newly defined clerk's position was incorporated into the SMT while the past clerk's job description was not. Conn. George Robertson. (South Huron) echoed Johnston's sentiments about when the clerk's jobiitle was added .to the SMTs roster. However, the CAO noted further debate would have to be held in camera (public and media - not permitted) since it is considered a per - sonnel issue. After a short in -camera session, councillors returned to open session. Coun. Bill Dowson asked that debate be cut short in order to deal with the resolu- tion at hand - "We either purchase this car or we don't," he says. The COW then supported the proposed purchase with only Court. Neil Rintottl expressing opposition. Coun. Joe Seili (Huron East) was absent for the vote. For your convenience, interac as well as post dated cheques are accepted at the office. There is also an after hours drop box located at the front of the office. Taxes not paid by the due date are subject to interest charges of 1.25% per month. Please ensure your payment is received in the office by the due date. When making payment through Telephone/Internet banking & Teller/ABM payments please allow two (2) business days for payment to be received in the municipal office.
