FURNESS
Rodney Fumess of Blyth and •formerly of
Lucknow, died on Thursday, April 23, 2009 at
the Clinton Hospital in his 59th year. Greatly
missed by his mother Florence Fumess of
Lucknow and his children: Rob Furness of
Lucknow, Eric and Vicky of Kinloss Township,
Andy and Wendy of Whitechurch, and Jamie
and Connie of B.C. Also survived by his former
wife Jean Fumess . of Lucknow, by his eight
grandchildren, and his brother Bob Fumess of
Whitechurch. A funeral service was conducted
from MacKenzie & McCreath Funeral Home,
Lucknow Chapel on Tuesday, April 28. Rev.
Peggy Kinsman officiated. Visitation was held
for 2 hours prior to the service. Pallbearers
were: Ronnie Furness, Rob Fumess, Patrick
Ritchie and Raymond Riley. Flower bearers
were his grandchildren: Paula Ritchie, Jessica
Furness, Barbara -Jean Furness, Gavin
Fumess and Gloria Ritchie. Memorial

Branch 420 or to the Alzheimer's Society would

As you may have heard, on May 2, I was
selected 13th overall by the Plymouth Whalers
in the CHL Pdorfty Selection. Being selected in
the first round is quite an honour and I am real-
ly looking forward -to' playing for the Whalers
this fall. There are so manypeople who have

Playing AAA hockey gave me the opportunity
