For some the
thought of being
offered a million
dollar house, a
Bentley and an old
woman's pet
sounds like a
dream. For a local
resident, . * it was
almost a 'reality.'
Alex MacLeod,
a 2008/2009

Ripley resident,
was .recently
filmed as part of
the reality show
'Howie Do It.'

Toronto. As they
were on the way,
he told Schenna he
had a surprise for
him. MacLeod
said Schenna had
taken him to a
Family Heritage
centre, where they
look up family his-
tories.
A man
approached the
men and told
:MacLeod there

MacLeod was
given three
options, to write a
cheque for $26
million right then,
serve six months
in an Italian prison
or give everything
back, pay
$250,000 and take
care of 'Nigel.'
"I thought Nigel
was a dog,"
MacLeod added,
but Nigelhap-
pened to be an
eight -foot Python.
MacLeod said
he didn't like any
of the options and
that he didn't have
$250,000 to give
thein,; but he could
take care of Nigel.
"I had to pet the
thing, and then

told MacLeod the
details for taking
care of it. He said
