The premise of

mysterious death
of Harold O'Toole,

gate Harold's
missing through-
out the play trying
to pinpoint what
exactly happened
to Harold, with
amusing results.
The play begins
in •the home of
Harold and vArlean
O'Toole (Jackie
DeJong) where she
and neighbour
Alien Wills (Tony
McQuail) are talk-
ing about Harold
when the police
come into the
house to start their
investigation on
the .. missing man.
The police George
Hill (Ryan
Johnston) and Gail
Arnold • (Wil ha
Blake) come into
the O'Toole house
where the one lin-
ers start and con-
tinue throughout
the whole play.
The comedy is
based on the battle
of the sexes
between the
majority of . the
characters and is a
big part of Arlean .
O'Toole who
always has some-
thing badto say
about her missing
husband.
The play has its
serious moments
when the character
Barry . Jones
(Murray Yungblut)
has a great things
to say about his
missing friend and.
how he was a war
heroand conduct-
ed. -himself like a
gentleman every
time he attended
the Legion.
The set of the
farm house gave a
genuine and
authentic look to
how jumbled up
Harold and
Arlean's life had
been before he
went missing. The
messy, a ...:set was
chaos in fine order
and a great job was
done by Ruth
Alton.
Another key
technical area of
thy play were the
lights. David
Ntivins allowed the
play to flow ` as he
focused the lights
on the progression
of the play through
the subtle use of
tight and dark.
Also in the play.
are Brenda
Hardwick (Pat
McKillop) . and
Bob Hardwick
(Tony Miltenburg)
who add to the
gossip surrounding
Harold O'Toole;

Jewson) who play
