Lou Raynard and Marlene -Struthers are banging a peti-. tion to the Township of Huron -Kinloss to address their r- 'dist satisfaction with the arrangement of where their waste, that is not regular gaibage or recycla- ble, ec cla- ble, is placed. The bins placed by : Bruce Area Solid Waste Rec:yc,ling (BASWR) were removed from behind the Bank of Montreal due ` to Imo*, *rowing regular garbage into the bins. Huron -Kinloss 'Aim 'I rp dried to r ct the situation by placing bins at the Kinloss landfill site, where they could be moni- tored. • This, however, hasn't sat well with Lucknow *residents as they believe it's too far away from Lucknow and would prefer bins placed the vil- lage. There are resi- dents who just can't make the trip to !loss landfill, due to things like lack of a vehicle, mobility and : the fact it isn't very convenient for reg - War use. Raynard and Struthers are pro- posing, through the petition so the bins can be placed somewhere in Lucknow with the days scheduled for monitoring on Monday and Thursday between. 4 and 6 p.m. or at a . mutually. agreeable schedule. The proposed site would be at the town shed located on Hamilton Street. The petition being circulated c be found at H dgins • Home Hardware, Armstrong's Bakery, Mary's Restaurant and the Lucknow Sentinel.
