Being a furnace technician is a passion for Rob. Harth
BY GARIT REID
Sentinel Staff
Rob • Harth of
Harth Heating and
Air Conditioning
started up his own
business because
he has a passion
for what he does
and .he wants his
customers to have
the best furnace
technician possi-
ble.
Harth is a firm
believer in people
taking good care of
their furnaces and
one way io do that
is an annual tune-
up.
"I want people to
save money on
their furnace.
I
encourage them to
have regular serv-
ice," said Harth.;.
"Keeping your fur-
nace maintained is
the best way to
save your money."
Harth isbased
out of Wingham,
but wants to spread
his business across
other areas and
Lucknow is one of
those places. He
has been in the
business for about
five' years now and
is just looking to
expand. Harth has
a contract with the
Lucknow Coop.
"I'd like to
branch out into
Kincardine. I have
a few customers in
Lucknow, ` which
works out well.
I'm hoping to offer
gas in the future,
but it's not-: in this
area yet," said
Rob Hardt, of Harth Heating and Air Conditioning
he's . doing; this is
by offering a new
oil furnace that
will save 40 per
cent on heating
costs and the abili-
ty to change one's
furnace from oil to
gas by just chang-
ing the burner.
Harth just wants
to make people
aware that , they
should have ` their
furnace serviced
item once a at best
and at least once
every two years to
keep- their . furnace
•
from' breaking
down. He wants to
save people money
and a well working
furnace will ` 'save
people more
money the having
to fix a broken one.
"With gas and
oil furnaces, they
should be : serviced
once a year and at
least once every
two years mini-
mum," said Harth.
"Most people don't
get their furnace
serviced until there
is something
wrong with it and
when something is
wrong, it usually
leads to failure of
the system. I'm
just trying to get
1.63 acres $59,900
the word out for
people • to keep
their furnaces
maintained."
For anyone
wanting the servic-
es of • Harth
Heating and Air
Conditioning they
can get a hold of
him during the day
at 519-357-0530 or
during the night at
