CARTER
At Wingham and District Hospital, on Monday, March 16, 2009, Grace
Eileen Frances Carter of Walkerton, formerly of Bluevale, age 79 years.
Wife of the late Levi Carter. Dear mother of Grace and Ed Wiersma of
Kitchener, Hank and Laurie Carter of Wingham, Douglas Carter of
Comber, Barbara and Richard Bowman of Owen Sound, Kenneth and
Pam Carter and Marjorie and Andy Adams of Bluevale, Helen and Don
Atkinson of Listowel, Judy and Bill Lappage, Kevin and Vicki Carter and
Terry and Tracey Carter of Bluevale. Also survived by 22 grandchildren
and several great grandchildren. Sister of Marie Lamont, Marjorie
Stroud, Betty Darling, Frank Edgar, Henry Edgar, Donnie Edgar, Mary
Zister, Margaret Beadle, Peter Edgar and Annie Neable. Predeceased
by her daughter Doreen Carter (1963), son Levi Carter (1982) and by
brothers Harold and Charles Edgar. Visitation at McBurney Funeral
Home, Wingham, Wednesday, March 18. Funeral service was at the
funeral home chapel on Thursday, March 19 at 1:30 p.m. with Rev. Jeff
Hawkins officiating. Interment South Kinloss Cemetery, Kinloss
Township. Memorial donations to Heart and Stroke Foundation or a
charity of yourchoice were appreciated as expressions of sympathy.

success. Special thanks to Brian and Shirley Dewar for setting up and
organizing the coffee, tea, treats, and decorations. Our children and
