The Lucknow Lancers played game five on Friday night in Ripley and clinched their series four games to one against the Wolves. The game was exciting and fast paced and the score was always .close. They took the game 3-2 and dashed the Wolves' playoff run. Lucknow opened the scor- ing just four minutes into the game on a goal by Rick Andrew. Jonny MacKinnon stole the puck from the Ripley defence, fed Rick who made a nice move on the goalie and put- a backhander • along the ice. Councillors John Grace (Goderich) and Joe Seili (Huron East) were absent for the vote.
