MACCROSTI
Carol Louise MacCrostie of Lucknow, passed away at Wingham and
District Hospital on Saturday, Feb. 14, 2009 in her 75th year. Survived
by her sister Marie Toll of Blyth and her aunt Dorothy McKenzie of
Huronlea. Se is Lovingly remembered by several nieces and nephews,
Cheryl and Tom Cronin, Vaughn and Marlene Toll, Avon and Al Cornell,
all of Blyth, Kerry and Greer Black of Calgary, Dale and Hope
MacCrostie of Bervie, and Annette McKellar of Victoria, B.C. She will be
sadly missed by many great, and great -great-nieces and nephews.
Carol is predeceased her parents William MacCrostie and 'Myrtle
Q by
Webster, her r brothers Hugh and Ronald, her sister-in-law Amy
MacCrostie, brother-in-law Aubrey Toll and nephew Terry McKellar. A
private funeral service was held.at MacKenzie & McCreath Funeral
Home, Lucknow Chapel, with Rev. Gary Clark officiating. Memorial
donations were to Huron Women's Shelter, Second Stage Housing, and
to the ACWTownship (St. Helen's Hall). Spring interment in Greenhill
Cemetery. Carol's steadfast commitment to her family, many.friends and

(John) . McIntosh all of Ripley. Also lovingly
rememberedby eight grandchildren; Chad,
Kaitlyn, Jarred, Steven, Jacquelyn, Shawn,
Zac and Mitch, brattier Ron (Lynn) Nicholson
of Ripley, sister Bonnie (Eric) Taylor of-
Lucknow, special nieces, nephews and step-
family; Colleen (Eugene) Dunlop of Fergus,
Ken MacDonald, Marilyn MacDonald, Rod
(Betty) MacDonald, all of Kincardine.
Predeceased by parents Gladys (Neubauer) and
Clayton Nicholson and step -mother Dods Nicholson. Judy had .a great
sense ofcommunity and was involved In the Ripley :Horticultural Society;
the Ripley Business Association; the Ripley Huron Community School
milk program; St. Andrew's United Church and the UCW. Judy was a
member of the Red Hat Society and enjoyed her outings with the
"Theatre Girls". Judy will forever be remembered for her famous pickles,
shortbread cookies and strawberry jam. She loved to spend time' with
family and friends with her grandchildren being her greatest pride and
joy. Her presence will be missed at their hockey games and at the base-
ball diamond. Judy touched the lives of many people with her acts of
kindness, support, compassion and understanding. Someone so special
can never be forgotten. Visitation was held at MacKenzie & McCreath
Funeral Home, Ripley, on Wednesday, . Feb. 18. A funeral service from
St. Andrew's United Church was held on Thursday, Feb. 19 with Rev.
Diane Dier officiating. Pallbearers were Chad Coiling, Steven Coiling,
Shawn McIntosh, Brent Coiling, Shawn.Colling, Michael Nicholson, with
honorary pallbearer Murray Coiling. Flower bearers were Kaitlyn Coiling,
Jacquelyn Coiling Jarred Coiling, Zac McIntosh, Mitch McIntosh, Paula
Taylor, Whitney Taylor, Carol Anne Hohner, Mary Anne MacDonald and
Christina Kaichos. Spring interment Ripley Cemetery. Donations to
Alzheimer's, Ripley Minor Sports or St. Andrew's United Church were
