Johanna Antonia "Joan" Buttee, passed Perhaps you sent a lovely card, or sat upon a
peacefully on Tuesday, Feb. 3, 2009 at her res- chair
idence Pinecrest Manor, Lucknow in her 87th
year. Beloved wife of the late Jim Buttee who
predeceased her in 1984. Dear, loving mother
of Jim Buttee, Kim Buttee and Lisa Izso and
Eric Izso of Point Clark, Patti and husband
Murray Huber, and "Oma" to cherished grand-
son Matthew, of Plattsville. Joan came to
Canada from Amsterdam as a war bride and
her family was her pride and joy. Mom had a
truly incredible spirit and while we may have
lost our little "Energizer Bunny", we've gained
an angel by our side. Survived by brother John
Takes, and sister Ingrid Takes. Predeceased by
parents Mr & Mrs. Felix Takes, brother Felix,
and sisters Lilja and Nellie. Heartfelt thank you
Perhaps you sent us beautiful flowers, if so we
saw them there.
Perhaps you spoke the kindest words that any
friend could say\ -
Perhaps you were not there at all, just thought
of us that day.
