Congratulations to our South Kinloss girls: Hannah Dickie, first place; and Melissa Maclntyre, second place. Congratulations to Scott and Karissa Chow on the birth of their- baby girl, Ever Elizabeth. She is a wee sister for Lachlan. Proud. grandparents are William Dickie and Irene Parker and great grandpa is Ira Dickie. Sympathy is extended to Marilyn Maclntyre and family on the passing . of her sister, Janet Bannerman, in Kincardine last week. Janet was also a sis- ter of Gerry and Joan Mowbray, of Whitechurch, daughter of Margaret Mowbray, of Lucknow and a sister-in-law of Marion Mowbray. th Kinloss hip loth locMmoler Ray and Bonnie Cunningham and fam- ily returned home recently from a holiday in Mexico. Herman and Allie Van Meeteren enjoyed visiting withfamily in Holland for 10 days, Diane Archer and Wayne Ferguson enjoyed their holidays in the. Dominican Republic where she and her family enjoyed celebrating her parents_ 64th wed- ding y din anniversary. What a nice way to have nniversar a family holiday. WMS NEWS The South Kinloss WMS recently met at the home of Nancy Maclntyre with the meeting starting with lunch being served by the directors Nancy and Margaret de Boer. Ruth Bachmeier welcomed everyone and opened the meeting' with a poem "It Works This,. Way". The minutes of . the January meeting were read : by Kathy Howald and the treasurer's report was given by 11largazet Hamilton. The rollcall was answered by nine ladies giving two valentines with stamped envelopes to Margaret de Boer, the Friendship representative,The worship service, led by Margaret and Nancy, was interesting. Our study book this year is on the Aboriginal people of Canada. ,These people are experiencing .the same teach- ings of faith, honesty, sharing, love and respect as we experience . in . the Presbyterian Church. The members then split into three groups to discuss Native spirituality. Margaret gave the : o f fertor ' .prayer. _ Mar aret - Hamilton accompanied the oup on the: piano for a hymn sing. Margaret 4 Boer gave the closingprayer. On Saturday Erlma Haldenby and Brad Engel met Sara and Raven Haldenby m North Bay. Raven returned to Kinlough w ith them for a holiday.
