Jaynes Street and Centralia Girls 'soft ball teams played a good game to a tie, 18-18, on the local diamond on Thursday night, with a large crowd of spectators present. Trueman ~Bile and J. G. Cochrane were umpires. In th,e first of three play-off games of soft 'ball on Monday evening James ,Street defeated Trivitt Memorial by the score of 8-5. The second game will be played on Thursday night.
