The Hensall and Community Horti- cultural Society is holding a "cowboy - themed" pot -luck dinner on December 7 at 7pm at Hensall United Church. Roast beef and potatoes will be sup- plied. At Carmel Presbyterian Church service began with welcome and an- nouncements. Taking part in the ser- vice were Pastor Andy Meinen, Pas- tor Brian MCGu Ein, Joyce Pepper, Al Hoggarth, and Harry Moir. There was a special children's time. The service closed with prayer and benediction. Come out and enjoy the company and great meal at the Hensall Drop -In on December 10 at 12 noon at Hensall United Church. Following lunch, we will be hearing from Phil Wagler. We welcome all local individuals to this luncheon. The cost is $6 per person. If required, transportation can be pro- vided. Huron Hospice Chair Kay Mailloux, right, accepts a donation from President Terri Finch, left, from CUPE Local 2597, in the amount of $500.
