BAKERY, CLERK/ MANAGER
Responsibilities:
• Responsible for managing the bakery department and being accountable forall as-
pects of ordering, merchandising, and supervisory duties.
• Ensure the department is properly merchandised to achieve optimal results, seasonal
needs and customer requirements.
• Manage the department in order to maximize sales and profits and to control costs.
• Meet financial targets and increase sales through effective merchandising, suggestive
selling and attractive displays.
Ensure achievement of the departmental budget through an emphasis on :
• Maximizing gross profit and managing wage costs, operational expenses and inven-
tory control.
• Provide leadership to staff through delegation of work, scheduling. ongoing training.
and promotion of a harmonious work environment.
• Adhere to strict cleaning schedule ensuring a high level of cleanliness and sanitation.

• Ensure the safety of all staff and customers.
• Other duties and assignments as required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Three(3) Five (5) years experience working in a Bakery department in a food retail
environment.
• Past supervisory or leadership experience in an assistant managerial or managerial
role is an asset.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Exceptional customer service skills with a talent for building leadership and customer
loyalty.
• Ability to work in a fast -paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
PC experience a definite asset.
• Ability to Understand financial reports and calculate gross profits and employee pro-
ductivity.
• Able to stand for long periods of time and deal with changing temperatures.

NOVEMBER 15, 2009 UNTIL APRIL
1, 2010 between the hours of 3:00
am to 6:00 am.
Any vehicle found to be in violation
will be ticketed and/or towed.
Every person who is the owner or occupant
of a commercial or business building located
in the area designated as Commercial shall
clear way and remove any snow and ice from
the roof of such buildings and shall also clear
away and remove the snow and ice from the
sidewalks in front of, alongside, or at the rear
of such building.
DEPOSITING OF SNOW ON
STREET ALLOWANCES
No person shall deposit any snow or ice upon
any portion of any highway, street or bridge
located within the limits of the Municipality of
Central Huron.
No Person shall move snow within the street
allowance from one side of the cleared portion
of the street allowance intended for vehicular
and pedestrian traffic to the other side of the
street allowance.

STOLL, Beatrice: Peacefully at Seaforth Commu-
nity Hospital, on Tuesday, November 17,2009 Mrs.
Beatrice Stoll of Seaforth in her 85th year. Beloved
wife of the late Edgar Stoll (1985). Loving mother
of Jim Stoll of Clinton, Dianne and Harry Cook of
Egmondville, Donna and Don Fisher of Goder-
ich, Ken and Janette Stoll of Seaforth, Jim Stoll of
Staffa, Joanne and Earl Ehgoetz of Sebringville,
Bill and Sue Stoll of Kippen, Nancy and Steve
Gordon of Peterborough, and Dave Stoll. Cher-
ished grandmother of 15 grandchildren and 21
great grandchildren. Also survived by one sister
Helen Williams, and sisters-in-law Irene Clark,
Helen Jewell, and Mary Johnson. Predeceased by
daughter-in-law Mary, granddaughter Jodie Gor-
don, her parents John and Hattie Johnston, one
sister, one brother and 4 brothers-in-law. Friends
were received at the Box and Smith Funeral Cha-
pel, 47 High St. Seaforth, on Thursday from 2-4 and
7-9 p.m. Funeral service was held at Egmondville
United Church, Egmondville on Friday, November
20, 2009 at 11 o'clock. Pastor Stephen Hildebrand
and Rev. Mary Beth Wilson officiated. Pallbearers
were Bill Stoll, Ken Stoll, Jim Stoll, Gary Elliott, Mike
Stoll and Brian Fisher.Flower bearers were Ben Stoll
and Clint Ehgoetz. Interment Colborne Cemetery.

MCLEAN, J. Edison "Ed": Peacefully at South
Huron Hospital, Exeter, on Wednesday, November
18, 2009 Mr. J. Edison "Ed" McLean of Seaforth
and formerly of Kippen in his 89th year. Beloved
husband of Helen (Dewar) McLean. Loving father
of Heather McLean of Seaforth. Brother-in-law
of Aletha Struthers of Mitchell, and Jean Dewar
of Atwood. Also missed by several nieces and
nephews. Predeceased by his parents James
and Margaret McLean, brothers-in-law James and
John Dewar, Percy Struthers, and by his sister-in-
law Margaret Dewar. Ed farmed for many years in
the Kippen area, and was also a devoted school
bus driver. Ed was also a charter member of the
Seaforth Harmony Kings. At Ed's request there will
be no visitation. A service of remembrance will be
held at Egmondville United Church on Wednes-
day, November 25, 2009 at 1:30 p.m. Pastor Ste-
phen Hildebrand and Rev. Mary Beth Wilson will
officiate. Interment Exeter Cemetery. As expres-
sions of sympathy memorial donations to St. An-
drew's United Church, Kippen, Egmondville Unit-
ed Church, or the charity of one's choice would

UPFOLD, Sarah: At Seaforth Community Hospital
on Monday, November 16, 2009, Sarah Elizabeth
(Stewart) Upfold, at age 71. Cherished mother of
Julia -Ann (Gerald) Labreche of Seaforth, Bernice
(Herbert) Becks of Tamworth and Carolyn Spring -
stead of Hamilton. Loving grandmother of nine
grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
Also remembered by her sister Margarette (Frank)
Stoughton of Vinemount and step -brothers Earl
(Shirley) Millen of Thunder Bay and Glen Millen
and his wife of U.S.A. Predeceased by her first
husband Clinton Upfold, her second husband Ed
Thomson, her parents Audrey and Elizabeth (Rit-
tenhouse) Stewart and a step -brother Cliff (Myrtle)
Millen. There will be no funeral home visitation
or service. Cremation has taken place. Memorial
donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association
