Adventure includes rock climbing
From Page 80
Mackinac Island took up a full day's
visit. Horses and bicycles only are per-
mitted on the island. At Fort Mackinac,
two men dressed as soldiers ofthe 1800s
demonstrated musket and cannon fire.
Perhaps the highlight of the trip was
the Mackinac bridge. Two nights were
spent at MacKinaw Mill Creek camp-
ing from where the bridge was viewed
in the day as well as night with the
lights.
lb the east of Mackinaw City was a
historical park with a working saw mill

run by water power. Here also was a
400 -foot vertical rock climbing wall
from which you rappelled down after
reaching the top as well as zip -lining
over a pond - an adventure!.
At this point, the circle tour was com-
plete. Two nights were spent at Killar-
ney provincial park with several hikes
made to inland campsites.
