Local Health Integration Networks (LHINs) are a key component of Ontario's plan to make the
health-care system more patient -centred and responsive to local health-care needs. LHINs respond
to local population needs by planning, coordinating, integrating and funding the delivery of health
services in each of the 14 LHIN geographic regions.
The Government of Ontario has three part-time Director vacancies, commencing in 2010, on the
Board of Directors of the South West LHIN. As a member of the South West LHIN Board, each
Director is responsible for directing the affairs of the LHIN in accordance with applicable legislation,
constituting documents, approved strategic and business plans, and government policies established
and communicated by the Minister of Health and Long -Term Care. Previous board experience,
combined with knowledge in the following areas, would be an asset: governance; health-care
administration; marketing; law; human resources; labour relations; communications; information
technology; systems perspective. Directors are appointed by Order -in -Council for a term of up to three
years, subject to renewal.

POSITION OVERVIEW: The Outside Plant Technician position is a full time,
permanent position that reports directly to the Plant Operations Manager. The
focus of this position is to install, maintain and repair various telecom/data
network elements.
SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
• Post Secondary Degree in an applicable field: (Networking, Electronics, etc)
• Excellent troubleshooting skills.
• Solid organizational skills
• Cabling & hardware installations
• Strong interpersonal and communications skills
• Proficient knowledge of telecommunication and security systems an asset
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Corresponding with clients, and report directly to plant manager
• Completion and submission of reports, documentation or work/job orders
daily
• Adaptation to both individual deliverables and team responsibilities.
• Valid Class G license
• Installation and maintenance of networks (may include heavy lifting and some
climbing)
• Ability to work flexible hours; on-call outside of regular business hours

Full Time Supportive Housing SupervisorHuronCounty
TCSS is seeking an individual to lead the Supportive Housing Program. Reporting to the Manager, In -
Home Services, the Supervisor is responsible to carry out the planning, development and
implementation of all Supportive Housing projects, including supervisory nursing services to the
standards of practice recommended by the College of Nurses of Ontario and Town & Country Support
Services policies and procedures to Home Support Workers/Personal Support Workers. This position
is also responsible to provide consultation and support to community programs.
Qualifications and responsibilities include:
Key responsibilities include developing a sense of community, ownership of the program, and a helping
environment within the Housing complex including partnerships with housing providers and other
community services to enhance the supportive environment. It also includes program development,
implementation and care coordination, program monitoring, evaluation and reporting.
• Current Certificate of Competence as a Registered Nurse or Registered Practical Nurse through the College of
Nurses of Ontario
• 2 years experience working with Seniors in the Community is an asset
• 2 years of supervisory experience demonstrating the ability to coach, develop and engage employees, facilitate
teamwork and resolve conflict
• You have demonstrated achievement in community relationship management and partnership development, and
have supervisory or project management experience.
• Demonstrated problem solving, ability to think strategically, assess situations, set priorities and decision making
skills
• Demonstrated willingness and ability to be adaptable, build relationships, focus on consumers needs and
communicate effectively at all levels of the Agency and community
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, time management and computer skills
• A valid Ontario drivers license with ability to travel throughout Huron County
