Radars lose both weekend games
The early season struggles of the Clinton
Radars continued last weekend as they lost
both road games and were out -scored 12-5 in
the process.
On Friday night in Monkton the Radars
went 0 for 5 on the powerplay in the first
period and then found themselves down 2-0
after 20 minutes.
Tyler Elligsen scored 23 seconds in to the
third to make it a one goal game. However
the wheels seemed to fall off after that and
Monkton scored 3 more times allowing them
to skate away with a rather easy 6-2 win.
In Lucan on Saturday, the Radars almost
played well enough to win but a meltdown in
the middle of .the second period allowed the
Jets to score 3 goals in just 39 seconds.
The third period was scoreless and the
game ended 6-3 in favour of Lucan.
