ahead of these issues."
Guest speaker Andrew Campbell,
the interactive media director with
Farms.com, a website that posts in-
formation on market prices, weather
and upcoming farm auctions.
Campbell encouraged aging farm-
ers to use technology, particularly
the Internet, to keep them better in-
formed about pertinent issues on the
farm.
Campbell says his research has
found that 75 per cent of farmers
have access to and are using the In-
ternet.

inviting all youngsters in Grades 2
and up to join a children's choir to
perform at the annual reading of
"A Christmas Carol", which will be
held this year at
Northside United
Church on Dec.
13 at 2:30 p.m.
Wood has been
an organist at St.

past five years
and during last
year's reading
of "A Christmas
Carol", she was
asked if she could
put together a
children's choir to
incorporate mu-
sic into the per-
formance.
Wood's moth-
er, Debra Lam-
bert, assembled
an adult choir

the actors during
last year's read-

"The music

CONTEMPORARY THREE-
BEDROOM HOME
A dramatic arched entry greets visitors to this contem-
porary three-bedroom family home.
The stone facing on the four columns flanking the
porch is repeated along the front of the house, adding
to the street appeal.
Once inside the foyer, there's a view to the great room
at the heart of the house, and beyond to the sundeck.
The great room's nine -foot vaulted ceilings add to its
spacious feeling. A built-in entertainment unit and a
gas fireplace occupy one wall, while a half -wall separ-
ates the great room from stairs to the unfinished base-
ment.
One entire wall of windows overlooks the rear sundeck
— a sure guarantee that this multi-purpose living space
will be full of natural light.
A combined eating bar and work island divides the
kitchen from the great room, providing plenty of room
for casual entertaining. An extra -wide window sill over
the double sink will make a great place to grow culin-
ary herbs, and a large comer pantry provides always -
welcome storage;
Open to the kitchen, the dining area includes an
optional built-in buffet, which will provide extra serving
and storage space.
