We had a few nice days but it has turned cooler again. Some trees have lost their leaves and x`z others still have most of theirs. Our church service at Cavan was our An- niversary Service. Rev. Sheila Macgreor was our guest speaker. There was special music. Gordon and Irma Pryce were greeters and collectors; Lunch was served by the ladies following the service. Ross and Joyce Ribey recently attended Wesley United Church near Underwood. This is Ross' home church, and it was their anniversary service. The speaker was from England, where Ribey relatives of both Ross and George attend services. However the speaker who was to come was ill so a friend of hers substituted for her. 1 dren will be out and about. It is also the time we turn the clocks back and get that extra hour of sleep we lost in March. FOOD FOR THOUGHT Some people who are looking for jobs are not necessarily looking for work. C.W.L.
