who passed away one
year ago, October 31,
2008.
If roses grow in heaven,
Lord
Please pick some for
us.
Place them in our moth-
er's arms,
And tell her they're
from us.
We love her and we
miss her,
And when she turns to
smile,
Place a kiss upon her
cheek,
And hold her for
awhile.
Remembering her is
easy,
We do it every day.
We carry her love within
our hearts,
It will never go away.

NOLAN
I would like to take this opportunity to thank every-
one who has helped me during the last couple of
weeks while I was recovering from my injury. First,
thanks to all of the parents and players from the
Seaforth Pee Wee Girls Hockey team who helped
me in Ilderton. From helping me to make a quick
exit from the arena, to helping my mom, and watch-
ing Hannah and Jack, it is all very much appreci-
ated. Thanks to Grandma and Papa for taking me
to London (so fast) and staying with me. Thanks to
everyone who sent food, flowers, cards and made
phone calls and visits to our house to check up
on me. Thanks to all of my friends at St.Columban
School for checking in on me and coming to visit.
Thanks to the Mitchell Stingers Tween A Ringette
team for all of your support and well wishes. I am
so lucky to be around such awesome people. I'll
be back before you know it!! - Mel Nolan 47-44x1

Special thanks to Dr. Emmett who helped me into
the E.R. and looked after me. Also to Mary and
Karen who hosted me with their valet parking and
making my supper. Sorry Ruth for taking you away
from your favourite program to take my x-rays.
Thanks to Dr. Percival for the complete makeover
and to the nurses and staff for their caring and
friendship. It was all greatly appreciated. Thank
you. - Sincerely, Frank Phillips 47-44x1
HILDEBRAND
A few words on paper cannot begin to express
my sincere gratitude for the care and kindness of-
fered to me during my stay in Seaforth Community
Hospital and since returning home. 1 spend lots
of time at the hospital visiting at bedsides...but
this was my first experience as a patient in one
of those beds and I wish to thank everyone at our
hospital for a very positive experience. The care
from Dr. Shepherd, Dr Eickmeier, Dr. Milne and
all the nurses and support staff was skilled and
professional, as well as kind and compassionate.
The food was very good and always served with
a smile and our hospital beams with cleanliness.
Thanks to my wife Ruth for your love and encour-
agement. Thanks to our family and friends for your
care and concern. Thanks to everyone at Eg-
mondville United Church for your understanding
and support. The gifts of prayers, cards, flowers,
food and acts of kindness are ever so appreciated
and have really helped keep a smile on my face
throughout this time. Thanks to Rev. Mary Beth Wil-
son and Rev. Nick Vandermey for carrying out my
pastoral duties on such short notice. Congratula-
tions to Brent and Catherine Pryce. Sorry I could
not personally share in your wedding day but my
thoughts were there with you. - Blessings, Steve
