Residents enjoy fall colour tour and picnic
The sun shone for Queensway
Residents Thursday Oct. 8 when we
not only had a perfect day for our fall
colour tour and picnic but also Char-
lie Browning as our bus driver. We
departed Queensway at 11 a.m. and
meandered along the country roads
to Apple Park near Goderich for a
delicious picnic lunch and view of
the many interesting concrete stat-
ues around the grounds. A big thank
you is due to our gracious hosts ' at
Apple Park. We can highly recom-
mend Bannockburn, Orchard Line
and Benmiller area to anyone wish-
ing to see the fall colours in the next
few weeks.
The Hensall United Church women
provided assistance and prizes for
the Monday afternoon bingo game.
Following bingo, retirement home
resident, Beth Knox hosted the Unit-
ed Church women for a Friendship
Circle meeting.
Volunteer Auxiliary/Family Council
met at 9 a.m. Tuesday morning to dis-
cuss upcoming events and projects.
Clarification
In the Sept. 23 edition of the Huron
Expositor in the story `Spirit Weekend
will bring seance and psychic read-
ings to Van Egmond House,' it was
reported that London-based psychic
medium Annette Sullivan would be of-
fering psychic readings on Oct. 31 for
$20. The actual price varies from $20
to $60, depending on the length of the
session.

& purple sugar sprinkles were used

busy women needing extra goodies
