"It's all about putting in the work and trying to keep healthy. We're running further than ever and that's paying dividends. Cross coun- try runner are made, not -born," he says. Robinson says that with 53 athletes, the St. Anne's team is bigger than ever - last year's team had 48 runners - and includes fewer ath- letes who are trying to compete in more than one sport. "We have hardly any kids playing more than one sport and the attendance at practices is much higher that way. There's a level of dedi- cation," he says, adding that he even had 26 runners out to practice on a recent cold and rainy day. Robinson says the St. Anne's cross country team has been doing well at the two invita- tional meets they've competed.in so far in the London area.
