Tuesday is the beginning of autumn. A few trees are showing their fall colours. Pastor Mary Fletcher's sermon topic at Cavan United Church was "Building on Faith Sunday." Greeter and collectors were Susan and Larry Wheatley. Upcoming events at Cavan are World Wide Communion on Oct. 4 and the regular Anniversary Service on Oct. 25 with Rev. Sheila as the guest speaker. The knitting club has started again at the church. Watch for the meeting time and join us for an informative get-together.
