warm weather lately with beautiful
days and cool evenings. Tuesday is
the beginning of autumn. A few trees
are showing their fall colours.

The knitting club has started again
at the church. Watch for the meeting

Beatrice Campbell spent a few days
visiting with her daughter Sheila Ni-
col and her family in London.

Fundraiser collects $136 for Alzheimer Society
Queensway Residents. were pleased
to host another successful Coffee Break
fundraiser Thursday September 17th,
with $136.00 raised for the Huron
County Alzheimer Society. Staff, volun-
teers, residents and visitors attended
the event to peruse information about
our local Society & the many services
it offers as well as a plethora of infor-
mation about the actual disease. Piping

Breakfast group drew some good ap-
petites Tuesday morning with eggs,
ailmmischeddar cheese, to-
mato slices, toast,
muffins & bottom-
less mugs of tea & cof-
fee on the menu. Residents attending
this program enjoy the more intimate
setting & visiting with those not usu-
ally their dining companions.
Pastor Phil Wagler led Worship Tues-
day September 15th, visiting with Res-
idents following the Service. Resident,
Marjorie Freeman was volunteer pia-
nist.
