Highway 8 reconstruction begins
between Seaforth and Mitchell

Motorists driving on Highway 8 east of Seaforth can expect minor delays
as road crews continue to work on a reconstruction project.
The project -extends just west of Mitchell and includes the resurfacing of the
highway and a complete reconstruction in the stretch of highway throughout
St. Columban. '
Arehabilitation of Silver Creek bridge in Sesforth is also part of the project
and will begin next year.
The work began Aug. 24 and is expected to continue until late November.
Road crews will break for the winter and continue the work starting in
mid-April, with plans to finish the job in fall 2010.
