ship service at 11 a.m. with Barb

Parlour. of the season drew a crowd
of residents to the deck area to feast
on made-to-order sundaes. With car-
amel, chocolate, bananas, pineap- .
ple, cherries and whipped topping to, -
choose from, several residents jut

The Lakeview Singers visited
Tuesdayevening to sing their gos-
pel music throughout the hallways
sharing their gift of musicwith resi-
dents.
Music Therapy with Lisa Stewart
had residents'-Agatred ;for small
group, individual : ; ,sessions and
drumming group throughout the

to make'. peanut ' butter . cookies to
be served at the evening memorial
service led by Rev. Marybeth Wilson
with .volunteer- :Francis I insman as

. Residents who have passed away
▪ in recent months were honoured at
'the well-attended.service as many
residents gathered to pay their rye-
spects and share memories with
each other and some of , the family
members who chose to attend.
Eric Dints, Marlene Mathers and
Dennis Rowe provided excellent en-
tertainment at the Birthdtay Party
Thursday evening with the e dance
floor full several tines` throughout
the evening. Their varied repertoire
ensured that there were `songs for
every taste.

Walk raises
$5,000 for
CNIB
The August meeting of the Cana-
dian Council of the Blind opened
with 0 Canada. and The Lord's
Prayer. Thirty members attended.
Roll call was "The Cause of Your
Blindness." The minutes were read
by Dianne Cook.
Tina the Clown has again been
booked for next year's picnic. The
walk for CNIB has been held and
$5,000 donated.
A prize was given to those who had
the most buttons on their clothes.
Thanksgiving supper will be Oct.
20 this year. {, •
Joseph, 10, and 'Sinione Flynn, 8,
entertained. Grandma Marie ac-
companied them
on the piano.
