Beloved husband of Connie Nesbitt. Loving father of Jeff & Michelle Nesbitt of Blyth and Cathy & Don Timmons of New Ham- burg. Cherished grandfather of Josilin, Kaila, Luke, Marissa and Brody. He was born at Seaforth on August 30, 1940 a son of the late Harold and Jean (Stevens) Pethick.Keith had been a teacher and principal for 34 1/2 years with the Oxford County Board of Education, prior to suffering a stroke in 1999. He is survived by his wife, the former Gloria Ruth Boyd, whom he married at Winthrop on July 7, 1962; his sister and brother-in-law, Marjorie and Donald Carter of Stratford; his brother and sister-in-law, Lloyd and Karen Pethick of Stratford; nieces and nephews, David and wife Andrea Carter,Barbara and husband Ed Kuipers, Susan and husband Greg Crocker, Paul and wife Morna Carter, Ja- son and wife Tash Pethick, Mark and wife Mandy Pethick. He will also be fondly remembered by his great nieces and great nephews, Jacqueline and Nicholas Carter; Allison and Ryan Kuipers; Nathaniel, Abigail and Gillian Crocker; Celeste, Aubrey and Marek Carter and Ella Pethick. There will be no funeral home visitation. A private funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 1, 2009. The Rev. Sonjie E. Pearson officiated. Interment of cremated remains will be in Maitlandbank Cern- etery, Seaforth on Friday, September 4th.
