Winthrop Road closes after two trucks collide
Days are getting warmer in Winthrop
but nights are still cool. So far we have
missed most of the showers which
means flowers and gardens have to be
watered.
Speaker for this Sunday's service at
Cavan United Church was Bruce Whit-
more. Title of his sermon was "Like
• a Little • Child." Greeters and collec-
tors were Marjorie Dolmage and Ruth
Campbell.
Next Sunday's speak-
er is Ruth. Ruth
and her two children of Switzerland
cousin of John. Braecker, are visiting
with the Braeckers. .
Visiting recently with Beatrice Camp-
bell was her nephew Edward Campbell
and friend from Toronto area. Beatrice
hadn't seen him for several years. They
also went and picked
up Bill Campbell
from Huronview
and all had a good visit. Edward grew
up on the former Regele farm on the
Winthrop Road.
Sandra Morey, Nicole, Cassie and Tyler
visited with Denise Morey and family
in Morris Plains, New Jersey recently.
Winthrop Road was closed for three
Hours on Thursday as a feed truck and
recycling truck collided at the corner of
Sawmill Road and North Line.
FOOD FOR THOUGHT
One advantage to travelling the
straight and narrow path is that no one
is trying to pass you.
