DRAMATIC ARCHED
ENTRANCE
This two-storey, three-bedroom family home fea-
tures a dramatic arched entrance, set into a cut -
stone wall, that lends the dwelling an air of classic
solidity, as well as curb appeal.
The design would be highly suitable for homeown-
ers who work at home, either full- or part-time — the
den at the rear of the house and a bonus room
above the garage would make ideal office spaces.
Inside the front door, a roomy foyer offers a view of
the great room through an attractive archway.
The dining area, set into a bay window, features a
door to the terrace, with steps down to the back gar-
dn.
The kitchen's work island, angled to save space,
includes a raised eating bar, which the family is sure
to find useful for casual snacks and quick coffees.
A powder room and laundry are located between
the den and the garage.
Upstairs, the master suite is particularly spacious,
with a window seat, a four -piece ensuite bathroom
with a soaker tub, and a large walk-in closet.
The second bedroom, at the back of the house, and
the third bedroom, at the front, share a three-piece
bathroom. Both the secondary bedrooms have clos-
ets with slk ing glass doors, and the third bedroom
enjoys the addition of a boxed -out window seat.
