Seven local churches sent a repre-
sentative with a hammer to help out
for a day at the Habitat for Human=-
ity Huron build in Exeter last week.
"The idea was to get people from
different churches to experience the
situation and hear some stories so
they can - come back and chat up their
congregation and friends to prepare
for the Seaforth build," says Bruce
Whitmore, who has joined the faith
committee for the Habitat build in
Seaforth, which is expected to begin
next spring.

I hope everyone will talk it up and
hopefully, we can come up with a
crew from each church and have sev-
en days covered at least," says Whit-
more.
Whitmore says he is putting to-
gether a church service that can be
used at each church answering some
important questions about Habitat
for Humanity and the reasons to get
involved.
"There will be a launch this fall
with an informative service with jus-
tifications based on scripture. And,

hoping families who
